FINISHES
Types of Venetian Plaster Finishes
Venetian plaster is a very fine lime putty mixed with marble dust pigments and other non-solvent, natural ingredients, meaning it is environmentally-friendly.

Thin layers of the plaster are built up and then smoothed over to create different effects of depth and texture.
Classic Marmorino – this polished plaster gives a smooth and highly reflective finish. Perfect for focal points or to give a luxurious and sophisticated air to an environment.
Carrara Marmorino
– this has a fairly coarser grain size than Classic Marmorino and gives a smooth, satiny finish. It works best for those who wish a reflective yet subtler effect than Classic Marmorino.
Lucidato - this is a classic technique which is famous for inducing a superior glassy shine.
Travertino – this technique creates the look and feel of natural stone and is characterised by the dragged pits and troughs within the smooth surface.
Pitted Plaster
– this technique can be used to produce a deeply pitted matt finish or a smooth lightly pitted polished plaster surface similar to that of limestone.
